I’ve been working in IT and digital for over 30 years – I started in tech support, worked my way through technical roles into IT management at companies like Lonely Planet and Beyond Blue, and founded my own digital consulting practice. I recently completed an MBA with Distinction from RMIT, specialising in Design Thinking and technology innovation.
I’m a natural problem-solver and strategic thinker. I can walk into a complex technology environment, work out what’s broken and develop a roadmap that aligns technology with what the organisation actually needs and can afford, minus buzzwords.
I’ve got a solid technical background so I can talk tech to tech people. I’ve also got strong communication skills so I’m really good at speaking plain English to non-tech people. I’m equally comfortable reporting to C-suite or working directly with technical teams.
I like to roll up my sleeves and get things done, as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible, fuelled by sometimes unhealthy doses of caffeine and a desire to find fun in what I do.
Background
After years in enterprise IT environments, I established WebSolutionZ in 2006, delivering websites and digital services to small and medium businesses. In 2019, I launched ENVEE Digital to provide comprehensive digital strategy, implementation and ongoing analysis for organisations ready to invest in long-term growth.
I’ve successfully completed over 100 digital projects across corporate, professional services, retail, travel, education and not-for-profit sectors.
